Meaningful Alignment

Walking in disarray, creating dysfunction, having a pity party, wallowing in self-doubt, and seeking external validation in countless ways to fix your internal concerns are tangible and easy to do; sadly, many of us do these things in some way or another daily. Even if you found that one of those previously mentioned things hit home for you in a shocking way, what is to come below is what you need to apply to your life immediately. Meaningful alignment and leverage are created by design if only you regularly do a few things on purpose.

Manifestation of your future starts now. What you do, say, and are exposed to mentally, spiritually, and physically impacts everything else, as you know. However, what do you do when you are seeking an adjustment to reach alignment for your future? Every part of what you do and what is around you is contributing to the alignment of your future and purpose, so be mindful, completely satisfied, and intentional.

Mindfulness

The path ahead of you starts quite literally with what is ahead of and around you. Are you being mindful of what is right before your very eyes? When was the last time you counted your blessings and claimed true satisfaction and thankfulness for every small thing around you throughout an entire day? I bet at least one person can say they have never done this. Therefore, it is now time for you to start making this a new habit that will later become a regular part of your life.

Alright…who is saying, “I don’t have time for that.” Do you have time for the success and wealth that you want? How can you be thankful for what you want in the future if you are not creating alignment and thankfulness starting in your journey right now? I bet you have time now…

Satisfaction

Really honoring and accepting the gift and blessing of what is around you creates meaningful alignment. Think about how much you have to be thankful for. Leveraging your life by using what you have is a grand opportunity, and you have to be able to do that in ways that make sense for you. You do not need to have a lot to make a difference, nor do you have to have a mansion to be thankful for your happy home and healthy family. Are you following me?

Start doing the most with what you have now. Begin each day by being thankful. Say things out loud about what how you are happy with what you have inside yourself and in your external environment. Real satisfaction with deep meaning will solidify leverage in alignment and create shifts in your mentality. You will start to see that everything you are doing to continue improving your life is moving in a smoother flow and rhythm because you can always re-center your thoughts.

Intentionality

Do not let life just happen to you. You have a lot more control over things than you may think. This does not mean that you need to be overzealous and worried about everything. Rather, you need to be intentional with your actions and focused on what is necessary. Intentional relationships, mindset, education, interactions, time spent doing all things, the type of information and media you feed your mind, and how often you sit in silence all affect outcomes and your future. Do you understand?

Intentional actions are critical. While no one can follow you around and keep an eye on your every move while also paying attention to your every thought, you can choose to be intentional if you wish to have the future you desire and the successes that will impact everything around you.

Check-In Time

What are you learning from this? I hope you learned these things about and for yourself:

1. You have the power to create leverage in your meaningful alignment along your journey and for your future successes.

2. You are pre-destined for greatness, and your purpose, gift, and talents will make room for you if you first make room for them.

3. Dedication to your craft requires a shift in your path, mentality, and every element of your internal and external environments.

Be blessed and be at peace.

V – Virtuous Identity

©KayLaN.Allen

Think About It
For far too many people, it is easy to put on a show and make people see them for whoever they may be in one light.  Take a look at a platform like Instagram, people enjoy images of travel, children, nature, animals, and everything in between, but these things are only what people allow their viewers to see.  If you were to shed a light on your life and your actual identity, could people say that you are virtuous?

Turn off the show for the world and share your story and empower others; it may not be as exciting as other things, but I guarantee you that your virtue and dignity will not be eradicated.

Maybe it’s time to adjust your thoughts and get yourself out of your limiting bubble. Be wonderfully you! Be virtuous and dignified.

Do Your Work
Not at any point, should you aim for perfection or pretend to be something that you are not as that will only hinder your growth and opportunities.  In all things, it is important to be your true self and be willing to evolve and become someone greater than you already are. Your challenge here is to own your identity and keep a hold of your morals and values, regardless of what the world may deem as appropriate or fitting for you.

You know the person that is living inside of you, so don’t think you have to alter your heart or morals to make someone comfortable or appease the masses. Do not, under any circumstance, try to force your moral compass to change. If you feel like you are being a virtuous person and are doing the right things as you continue to evolve, your compass is guided you effectively.

Reflect
Growing in your business or in life (becoming “you 2.0”) does not mean that you have to change your virtuous identity. Honor who you are and believe that the goodness that lives inside of you will only improve your coming successes. If I would have changed myself and stopped being the loving person that I am, I could not be on this mission to empower and encourage others to become better and prosperous versions of themselves. Think about all that you have poured your heart into and how much those things have gifted the world.

Own a virtuous identity and work hard in all that you do, and know that your hopes and dreams will become your truth and a gift to the world because you were simply being an amplified version of wonderful you.

Bible & Spiritual Connection
Proverbs 11:13 & Philippians 4:8
It is a challenge to be a good person, but the payback is substantial both in fruit and in the transformation that you can see in the life of others because of the work that you do. Don’t forget to be virtuous when you reach success or see new opportunities. The values and morals that you hold to be true will help to guide you in your path if you pay attention. Keep your eyes open and follow a beautiful and blessed path.

Be blessed and be at peace.

Q – Query or Lesson

©KayLaN.Allen

There are times that arise when a situation stumps us and we do not know what to do to overcome it.  This is surely a time of great reflection, meditation, prayer, and necessary visualization. On another end of the spectrum, it is equally a time to decide the situation means to you (at your core).

One situation that I have encountered is in dealing with difficulties within the school setting and not having adequate support that I think I need in order to perform well. Yes, in difficult moments, we can get angry, fuss, cuss, and yell…but is that enough to give us the answers and the vision that we need to take what happened and turn it into something fruitful?

When the road gets rough, the thing to consider is whether what is happening is a time for a query or a needed lesson.

Even when we think that we are wise and intellectual, there is yet still something to be learned. These queries may stimulate our growth and the lessons that you may need to let could set you apart from others at every level. When reached for what you can learn from queries or lessons will change your life in the way that you allow them to.

Think clearly. Be patient with yourself. Take the time to understand beyond the surface what you need to learn, especially when you are facing trials in your life.

Bible & Spiritual Connection
Proverbs 1:5 & 1 Thessalonians 5:11
There are countless lessons to be learned in life, but it is important to remember the value that they hold and that in your journey toward seeking sound knowledge God is present. No one walks this road alone, so do not be afraid to ask questions or learn the lesson that you need to learn.

Putting Yourself First

©KayLaN.Allen

Doubt– When little voices creep in asking us if we are doing the right thing we decide if we listen or challenge them. Doubt can make us question absolutely everything that we do and break us down if we give in to any negative aspect that comes in. Putting ourselves first means that we have to be able to not only understand the doubts that arise but also be able to overcome them so that we can reach our highest potential.

Fear– the fear of what if…the fear of judgment…the fear of not reaching goals…
All of these are real (ask me how I know). I have dealt with fears in many aspects of life. It can be difficult to have a stronghold over fears, but it can be done. Strength in vision, self, faith, and direction are all necessary in trying to overcome embedded fears.

Worth– You’re value is not determined by the world. It is established by God and to be understood and upheld by you. When someone challenges that, it hurts, right? It can even make you feel like maybe you aren’t worth what you said you are worth. We cannot allow others’ opinions, blocked/biased views, or internal problems to shift our worth.

Am I Enough?
Yes, you are. You may not be perfect and you may not have become all that you are called to be in your life YET, but you are enough. We all have space to grow and evolve. No one came into this world having all the answers, thank goodness! You can use what you have inside to make the most of your present; you just have to look beyond the surface and take inventory. Let nothing cause you to change what you think of yourself. How you view yourself and carry yourself is how others will treat you, so be careful.

Why can’t we channel our success but we can be extreme givers for anyone else?
First…Not okay. You need to understand why you are doing what you are doing…so, here we go…

Write it all down!

Ask yourself what would happen if you put yourself first.
Look internally and decide if what you are doing for others is proof that you can do even greater things in your own life.

Why can’t we be busy with our own growth?
You can be. You first must choose to do so. It is hard to put myself first in many instances, but I realize that if I don’t I am only hindering my growth. We can find hundreds of other things to be doing besides evolving ourselves. Sure that may be okay in the temporary, but we will hurt ourselves and be depriving ourselves in the long run.

Without putting yourself first and making sure that you are healthy, safe, and positively evolving, those around you will in some way suffer.

You are wonderfully made and a gift to this world.

Discover and love yourself. Don’t let the world try to break God’s mold (you).

If you can dream it you can have it. Don’t cheat yourself.

You are destined for greatness, and there is nothing nor any outside person that can do something to make God’s promises on your life not come into fruition in the physical realm.

She knows very well that eating alone is a part of her journey. Even when she is into her success, that table should still not be filled as she knows that evil and negativity will still be lurking. Her independence and strength are internal to all that she is. She is courage. She is greatness. She is on her way to her destiny.
She is you.
She is me.

Be blessed and be at peace.

M – Master Your Craft

©KayLaN.Allen

What makes you unique?
What “craft” do you do that is unique to you?
What things do you do to feed your soul and bless others?

Only You
There is something that you do naturally that sets you apart from others. For some, this may seem impossible given that there are billions of people in the world and so many people that may have similar educational or career experiences.  However, the truth that we can all see in many things, is that there are amazing things that people do that no one else could ever repeat.

The Journey Impacts Your Purpose
It took me a long time to realize the value of my uniqueness, experiences, life journey, education, and all that I have learned in my life. However, all of what makes me unique has shaped my brand and my writings. The same is true for you! Think about what you do for others because of what has been uniquely a part of your life (good and bad).

Continue Learning
Once you become aware of your uniqueness and you get moving with sharing your greatness with the world, you must continue to evolve to master your craft. There will also be a need to level-up once you reach your goals; this need is not to prove something, rather it is to best serve others and represent the vision and mission of your brand as best as possible at all times.

Master your craft and know that what you uniquely do is exactly what your audience needs.

Water your mental garden, master your craft and watch how things begin to blossom.

Bible & Spiritual Connection:
1 Timothy 4:14 & Romans 11:29
To not continue to evolve after you have reached new heights in using your craft would be quite a waste. You have been blessed, so why not continue to improve yourself and maximize the impact that only you can create? No matter how hard you may try to hide or pretend that your gifts do not exist or are not important, they will not go away. Open your eyes and know that you are special beyond words and you have great potential to be a blessing and gift to others in countless ways.

There is nothing and no one who can stop me from continuing to evolve.

Check out my newest logo! K – Know Your Weaknesses

©KayLaN.Allen

In all things in your life, there are moments when you know exactly what you need to do to succeed and navigate through your life.

On the other hand, there are favorable characteristics or assets that you wish you had but they may not come naturally to you. In these moments, is when you need to be able to look inside of yourself and know what your real weaknesses are. None of us were born exactly the same and we all have something that we can learn from other people; so, it is important to learn from those areas that make us feel like we are not able to accomplish some goal.

Weaknesses can break us down if we keep our eyes glued to how they may be negatively impacting us. However, weaknesses are not meant to break us; they are meant to empower us and encourage us to continue to grow in our strengths and in areas in which we may not be as familiar. We must own the fact that none of us are perfect and we can never aim to be that. We must also realize that a “woe is me” mindset when we are not currently able to handle something, will not change a present situation.

I have a passion for all things related to public and global health. I also have a heart for survivors who are now thrivers after overcoming domestic violence. One of my greatest passions is in writing, however, I also love to train and help to evolve leaders. I know that there are things that do not come naturally to me like the “gift of gab” related to public speaking and social interaction as I am an introvert, but that does not mean that I cannot learn tips and tricks to relate to others at a deeper level outside of my comfort zone. (This is what true self-inventory can look like, so do this for yourself.)

When you know your weaknesses, you can grow from what may have been trying to hold you back.

We must choose a path and not let personal doubts, weakness, or lack of knowledge hold us back. If we wish to address weaknesses, we must first be mindful of their existence. Take time for yourself (you know that you deserve it) and write down what your weaknesses are and why they exist. After we become honest with ourselves, we can adjust our actions to shift in a positive light.

Ever heard of the phrase “Knowledge Empowers You”? Take the first letter of each word and realize that:
“You are the K.E.Y. to your evolution and your future.”

Bible & Spiritual Connection:
Jeremiah 17:10 & Isaiah 40:29

If God knows who we are and He can even hear the desires of our hearts, He will bless us as He sees fit. As you know, sitting at home and praying is not all that must be done; you must put in the work, plant the seeds, and watch as your gardens grow. God supplies needs, but you must also put in the effort. You must be mindful and aware of what is present in your life if you wish to address it all and overcome/work with your weaknesses.

You can do ALL things.

Be blessed and be at peace.

I- Intrinsic Motivation

©KayLaN.Allen

When you think about motivation, if you are anything like me, you think of that “go-getter” attitude with a little added pep in your step right? That vision on how motivation “should be” may be true in many situations, but it won’t be all that you need to step into the next phase of whatever you are working on. The motivation of this sort may be linked to many things, but it is not bound to the daily realities of life.

Something that you may or may not be familiar with is intrinsic motivation. For many people, there are reasons that they connect to their motivation and they are outcome-driven; while this could be beneficial, taking an internal route may be more beneficial in the long-run.  Things like better pay, a leaner body, and accolades from completing a task can be linked to motivation, but once you have achieved them what do you have left?

I find motivation in defining my steps and given a reason to why I set goals and aim for greatness in all that I do.  When this happens the mission is bigger than myself and the outcomes will be more than favorable because I took my ego, pride, and fleeting situations out of the scenario.

When we can grant ourselves the meaning and reasoning for an outcome and greater purpose, motivation can become something that we own. Motivation can be a part of a lifestyle when we understand that any mission or goal that is worth having is worth fighting for. Intrinsic motivation lives in you, not through an external mission, outside noise, or outcomes that will be achieved in one place in time then be gone.

Motivation is not just words; it is the value that you place on your purpose and the greatness that lives inside of your mind, so look deeper to find it.

Bible & Spiritual Connection

James 1:2-4 & 1 Corinthians 15:58

This journey toward your destiny is one of the greatest battles that you will ever face. The fight was going to come at some time or another, but we all must realize that the process is what matters most. If you allow “noise” to cloud your mind, your outcomes will be limited. God has a promise on your life if you are willing to take His hand and let Him lead the way. Allow perseverance and purpose to make a home inside of your heart, mind, and soul, and know that goodness in you will be gifted with further goodness within you and as a gift to others.

Be blessed and be at peace.

H – Human Condition

©KayLaN.Allen

The human condition brings together everything that makes a person who they are. Things such as culture, health, desires, beliefs, education, and much more help to define the human condition. One of the most important things to value within yourself is the quality of your life.

Circumstances can define a person’s reality, but there is an alternative side to that as well.

When you go beyond the perception of your reality, you can learn to define the current space that you are in. Perhaps this means that you are 100% happy with the depth of your life as it is. It can also mean that you are becoming aware of areas in your life that are needing to be changed.

I may not be where I want to be, but I am aware of the spaces that help to define my “human condition”.

Since I know where I am and where I want to be, I know what it may take to reach my destiny.

Don’t let life pass you by and don’t be fooled into thinking that you cannot have any better than what you have now. You may not be perfect and you don’t have to be, just be aware, emotionally intelligent and in-tune of what may possibly be.

The human condition is a composition of who you are, but several of those components can change throughout your lifetime. As it is with most things, what you put in and what you are willing to positively evolve is equal to what you will get in return.

Bible Reading & Spiritual Connection

Proverbs 28:25 & Galatians 6:7

You have the chance to make the most out of your life, each day that you are graced and blessed to have breath in your lungs and the sun shining in your face. If you are not taking the time to sow seeds into your field, you cannot expect a harvest. In all that we do, we cannot work in evil ways, greed, or internal “ugliness”. When we are gifts and lights to the world, that which we are faced with grows into something much more valuable and worth residing in. You have the exact key that you need for the door of your destiny, so enjoy the journey toward claiming your victory.

Be blessed and be at peace.

C-Conscious Thinking

©KayLaN.Allen

The way that we envision our lives can be much different than our typical thought processes. From some, that may not be a big deal, but for others it could significantly deter a path to success. We can shift from ideas to deep thoughts and feasible actions by being more conscientious with how we think.

Dreamers and optimists see life with a different set of eyes than others, and that sets them apart from every day thinkers and doers. We must always choose how we think and carry out our actions. This may be difficult, but it can determine outcomes, level of understanding, and personal growth.

Shifting my thoughts when I am discouraged, disappointed, angry and even in a phase of hyper-optimism can be trying. What if we were to determine our own mental control. What if you could eliminate negative, unproductive thinking? The good news is we can. Work hard at it and don’t give up. This positivity leads to clarity and an altered lifestyle.

Spiritual Connection:
Are you keeping your spirit “in-check”? We are all filled with a purpose and we often create missions for our lives. We have been gifted spiritually to do anything that we can imagine if it is for good. If we choose to lean solely on the possibility of a miracle, we may miss out on greater things due to faulty thinking. Create a newness in yourself and your future by using what you have been granted in your heart and mind by your creator – God. Treat your mind like the mental garden that it is. Water your seeds and watch them grow; choose to do this over and over again. Make consciousness a mindset that is a part of your lifestyle and I guarantee, from proof via my own experiences, your live will continue to reap and see increase.

B – Being You

©KayLaN.Allen

As unhealthy and confusing as it can be for some people, at one point or another every one of us goes through a phase when we question and eventually set our identity. Life, education, culture, background, beliefs, and experiences help to shape who we are. In all things, even as you evolve you must continue to be who you are at your core.

Life is tough enough; external judgment could cause a negative shift inf you allow it to. You hold the key to your truth, so don’t alter things for someone else’s comfort. Remain the you that you are designed and purposed to be. Only if a change is warranted or needed to improve your life should it be done.

People will see you as how and who you are if they want to. In truth, the only opinion that matters is yours. The only emotional/character judge that matters is not found in enemies or naysayers. Being you will earn you a seat at the table of prosperity.

In deep clarity, you find yourself.

Be amazingly you…no one else can do it.

Bible Check-In (Read it alone and understand the meaning):
Ephesians 2:10

Spiritual Reflection: None of us are the same. Not one person on this Earth is perfect. Even with that knowledge, we can still hold true to the fact that each of us was created for a purpose and reason. Do the good that you can in the world by being yourself. Do not become something/someone different to please others. You were made in the image of your creator. I am made in His (God’s) image and I refuse to become someone else.
