Think About It
With every step that we take in life, there is a lesson to be learned. Each person that we encounter in life has been set forth to provide us with something to be learned and applied to our lives. Every conversation that we have affects our mental space and how we evolve as people and leaders. 


How can we fully walk into our greatness and future prosperity if wisdom is not intact?


*Where Does Come From & How Can We Keep It?

  • Wisdom begins as a message
  • We take in the nuggets of information as seeds to plant in our mental gardens
  • We learn and grow by watering and nurturing those seeds
  • We evolve, transform and blossom because of each loving step in taking care of those seeds (messages)
  • Keep this wisdom by teaching others, sharing knowledge, growing into your destiny and purpose, and by gifting the world with your generated businesses and careers that come from that wisdom. When you learn you grow. Taking the time to understand the impact of that growth is so important because it opens opportunities for changes in your lifestyle and that of your family.

Reflection
When we can create a library of wisdom in our minds from planted seeds, we can reach and teach the world with what we learn, grow, and embody.

Wisdom intact is the way to create your future. Do not limit your learning. I love to learn, hence why I am committed to learning for life and I will soon be Dr. KayLa. Everything we learn contributes to the future of what we do in our careers and family lives.

R – Resurrection of Dreams

For so many of us, as children, we had huge dreams (some a bit unreal). Do you know how much imagination and courage a child/teen has to say that they want to do something that is profound or “beyond them”? With adults, exceedingly often we shut down big dreams, bury them in our minds and chalk up our doubts to fear, lack, and lack of time.

What would happen if the dreamer inside of you was resurrected?

You don’t have to stop dead in your tracks and lead a limited life. The load may get heavy, but in time your effort will precede your many successes. In my life, I often feel drained and like I’m running an endless marathon, and yet I still keep the faith in knowing that the race will soon be won.

Resurrect your dreams and bring them back from the dead. Keep dreaming, planning, building, and striving because soon enough your dreams will become distant memories and your reality will supersede your wildest of dreams.

Doing good work and making your mission about serving God and others (not just yourself and your bank account) will bring successes and greatness to you that you could not develop alone. Isn’t it wonderful that we can set a course for our lives and have perfect support, guidance, and love wrapped around us even when we feel like the cards are stacked against us?  A resurrection of dreams is possible for those who want it most and are willing to believe in what could be wonderful.

P – Pedal to the Metal

One hope…
A dream…
A wish…
A goal…

All of these things can come into the physical realm if you do more than imagine them. Plenty of people dream of the way that things could be if only something were different. What if I told you that at this moment, everything is different? Never have you experienced the exact thoughts that you are navigating through right now. For some, never have you wondered what would happen if you took your dream and put the pedal to the metal.

Taking baby steps to arrive at a wanted destination may be required and that is perfectly fine. If I look at my journey through school or even in growing my brand, some baby steps have been necessary for me to learn what I needed to learn at a given moment in time. Sometimes it’s necessary to take a leap of faith and put your pedal to the metal. Will you take the key and drive to your destiny?

What if you do take a leap and then you trip, stumble or fall? That’s the big question, right? Well, what if you don’t take the leap and miss a chance to see your dream come to life? Think about that!

We all have an amazing chance to go from being a dreamer and believer to an achiever! Will you arrive at a full stop and sit in your thoughts or put the pedal to the medal and run to the finish line?

A chance is merely a chance without faith. Faith without works is dead. Faith with applied action leads to greater outcomes. Do more than talk about your dreams; apply them, share your greatness with the world, and believe in your mission. 
Know that nothing will fall into your lap and prayer will not be enough to make wildest dreams come true. Faith can be found in what you cannot see, so taking that leap of faith can be difficult. If we can recall that all things are possible and God is our provider, we have no reason to be afraid of following the purpose and journey that God sets before us.

N – Now or Later

In the process of personal evolution there comes a time when we face the question of now or later.

When focusing on your goals, determining whether you should hit the gas or pump the brakes is up to you. What we must keep in mind when answering the question of now or later is what will happen when we choose the option of greatest desire.

You can miss out on something great in life if you choose not to take another step forward. While you pause you can be giving an opportunity to someone else to make a move that you once wanted.  In a pause and reflect moment doubt can also enter, so in your choices think clearly by assessing your situation before making an “ideal” move.  Write down your options plain and clear; be sure to include possible outcomes that may come along.

Although taking the next leap forward may seem promising, it could lead to negative outcomes or change your life for the better simply because you walked on faith. Don’t make the mistake of walking blindly, be smart in your execution of completing objectives whether now or later.

If something tells you to wait when you feel like you should resume with moving be sure that the voice is not one of ill-will, personal doubt, negativity, or anything connected to pain. You deserve better than that, so don’t let darkness take over your light.

The answer to now or later is up to you; the outcome could be negative or positive in either space, so depend on your rational thinking, vision for your life, and the reality that you face.

Evil will always have a “place” in the world, so be clear in knowing that not all things are for your good. Be honest, truthful, and wise in your choices, because in these things you can find blessed success. You are not alone in your journey as there are many parts in play. Seek God in all that you do and know that with persistence and in His time the greatest things that your heart desire will come to fruition.

L – Lifestyle Creation

In all things that you do, you are leading a lifestyle. When you think about what you do on a regular basis, are you satisfied with the life that you are leading? Things such as a daily schedule, foods, prayer & meditation, exercise, and personal transformation choices affect all that you do. 

Daily Routine
Whether your daily process begins with prayer, a healthy meal, working out, or journaling, you have established a flow for your day. When we shape our days with intention, we can see positive outcomes. You have a decision to make each day and your outcomes from those decisions can shape your day. What do you do to pan through your days?

Healthy Diet
A lifestyle includes your food consumption just as well. The phrase “You are what you eat” is a harsh but true reality that each of us must face. If your diet is lacking colors, veggies, fruits or water, you cannot expect a healthy, holistically-sound life. Greasy, fattening, and sweet foods may be pleasing at one level, but the long-term effects will be quite the opposite.

Prayer & Meditation
What a gift we have in being able to pray and meditate at any time of day in any place.  When we can do this, we activate hope, faith, light, clarity, grace, mercy, joy, relief, and so much more. Sit and think for a moment when you felt that feeling (after prayer or a moment of true peace) that you were lighter.  Prayer and meditation must be a part of your lifestyle if you wish to remain in-tune with your creator and generate greater possibilities for our lives.


Exercise
Taking care of your physical body is something that is 100% necessary. Limited income, children, and other obligations will not stand as excuses for not taking care of your body at least 3 times a week. You do not have to go into a gym, pay for a trainer, or work out at a specific time of day; you just need to get it done. I am an introvert and I find ways at home to work out regularly; I use apps, YouTube videos, and DVD/TV programs to make my workouts impactful. You have a phone/device that you can access exercise methods on, so make it happen.

Personal Transformation
No matter what practices, faith, processes, habits, or choices you made in your past or you are currently making, you have the opportunity to evolve and find success at every level. Change starts with you and must continue throughout your life.  A stagnant life contains inconsistencies, unhealthy habits, negative talk, and poor judgment. Shifting a lifestyle requires a massive overall, but it can alter all that you do.


Develop and consistently lead a fruitful lifestyle by understanding what it takes to lead the life that you want to live.

We are given life and there is a multitude of ways in which we can live that life. Certainly, physical health is important, but a lifestyle that will withstand the test of time on Earth and beyond contains much more.

I- Intrinsic Motivation

When you think about motivation, if you are anything like me, you think of that “go-getter” attitude with a little added pep in your step right? That vision on how motivation “should be” may be true in many situations, but it won’t be all that you need to step into the next phase of whatever you are working on. The motivation of this sort may be linked to many things, but it is not bound to the daily realities of life.

Something that you may or may not be familiar with is intrinsic motivation. For many people, there are reasons that they connect to their motivation and they are outcome-driven; while this could be beneficial, taking an internal route may be more beneficial in the long-run.  Things like better pay, a leaner body, and accolades from completing a task can be linked to motivation, but once you have achieved them what do you have left? 

I find motivation in defining my steps and given a reason to why I set goals and aim for greatness in all that I do.  When this happens the mission is bigger than myself and the outcomes will be more than favorable because I took my ego, pride, and fleeting situations out of the scenario.

When we can grant ourselves the meaning and reasoning for an outcome and greater purpose, motivation can become something that we own. Motivation can be a part of a lifestyle when we understand that any mission or goal that is worth having is worth fighting for. Intrinsic motivation lives in you, not through an external mission, outside noise, or outcomes that will be achieved in one place in time then be gone.

Motivation is not just words; it is the value that you place on your purpose and the greatness that lives inside of your mind, so look deeper to find it.

This journey toward your destiny is one of the greatest battles that you will ever face. The fight was going to come at some time or another, but we all must realize that the process is what matters most. If you allow “noise” to cloud your mind, your outcomes will be limited. God has a promise on your life if you are willing to take His hand and let Him lead the way. Allow perseverance and purpose to make a home inside of your heart, mind, and soul, and know that goodness in you will be gifted with further goodness within you and as a gift to others.

E – Effective Leadership

Leaders of the world unite! Maybe…?

Each person is different in every way, right? The same is true for leaders.

Let’s think about it.

For every business, there is a leader, but not every leader is the same. There are so many different leadership styles, character traits, and belief systems that encourage a leader to perform the way that they do. Effective leaders not only have an embedded understanding of who they are…they also work diligently to understand and positively impact their “subordinates”. On the other side of this, many of us have seen the opposite scenario just as well.

We (you and I) have the choice to change the way that we lead. When was the last time that you challenged your own performance or took inventory of the way that you tackle concerning situations? If you go through life believing that you are correct and have no need to change, then effective will not be the word that is in front of leadership when it comes to you.

Encourage yourself to be better, no matter difficult it may seem. Being effective as a leader is impactful not only for yourself but for everyone around you, business, and those you serve through your business’ efforts. Leadership is not just telling others what to do. Think about leadership like a trickling of water effect; when one key leader is at the head, guess what happens? Everyone else is flooded with whatever is included; on the positive side that could be empowerment, courage, happiness, critical thinking skills and so much more.

Even if you aren’t in a leadership position now, your time will soon come if that is your heart’s desire.

Know that: “The potential to be an amazing leader is living and breathing inside of you.”

God prepares those He sets forth to carry out a calling that he has on their lives. No one is perfect and sometimes you will not have all of the answers, but that is okay. You don’t have to evolve or walk into greatness alone. Be strong, look internally, and seek wise counsel from above and on Earth. None of us are alone. 
You know that feeling when things seem to fall into place or when everything starts to align in an order that makes complete sense? What if it is divine? What if things are happening as they should? Your soul, heart, and mind know what they deserve- when they are in alignment and you are focused on what is most desired, everything happens as it should (in a supernatural way).
Today can be the day that you choose to be an effective leader moving forward. Is today your day?

S – Satisfy Your Taste

What is your favorite thing to eat?
I am an experimental eater – meaning I wouldn’t mind trying most things at least once. There is some fun and excitement in eating new things, for me.


Although you love to eat some pretty delectable things, have you ever thought about how much it may be damaging you?


Don’t get me wrong, I love breads and desserts, but my body shows adverse effects including weight gain, higher cholesterol, and more fatigue when I indulge. Think about how you want to live out the rest of your life and how what you put into your body may be affecting you.


Even if a taste of something may be satisfying, you need to be mindful of the consequences.


What if you flip this scenario around and base it on growth in your life?


What if you did whatever it took to satisfy your mental taste?


What if you indulged in a new flavor?


How can you reach success if you are never satisfied?


There is a recipe to your Level-10 Success:
10 parts manifestation
10 parts self-care
10 parts self- love
10 parts prayer
10 parts visualization
50 parts hard work

The life you lead is your own. What you allow to alter your taste buds is up to you. Let nothing leave you with a lingering, gross taste without first valuing the meal.


Ecclesiastes 2: 24-25
“There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, for apart from Him who can eat or who can have enjoyment?” If you are rolling through life unhappily or dissatisfied, you can change that; God offers you so much more. He will give you all that you worked hard for and truly desire. You can have it all #youcanttellmeno   The universe always returns what you put into it; if you are allowing yourself to eat only what you are mentally fed and you are not creating satisfaction you will get more of the same. Exercise your mind, the outcome will be far beyond what you could imagine.


John 4:34
“Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to accomplish His work””. Are you satisfying your taste while following God’s plans for your life or might you be longing for a new meal all while trying to feed your own soul? You are here for a reason and you have a specific purpose, so keep that in mind when the world dishes out a plate of unpleasant foods. You can adjust your life’s recipe to satisfy your taste.


Life is full of wonderful ingredients and fabulous mental/life recipes…what are you using to satisfy your taste?


***Health Spotlight*** Sore throat (via CDC)
Symptoms: Painful swallowing, dry/itchy throat, 
Prevalence: Children- 20-3o out of 100 sore throats are strep throat; 5-15 out of 100 adults with a sore throat have strep throat.
Causes: Allergies, dry air, pollution, smoking or exposure to smoking (second-hand)
Risk factors: exposure, time of year, weather, tonsils, immune system, allergies, and acid reflux disease.
Seek medical care if: it lasts longer than a week, causes difficulty breathing or swallowing, there is excessive drooling in young children, high temperature (over 100.4), rash, joint pain, more than 2 weeks of hoarseness, blood in saliva/phlegm, dehydration, or recurring sore throat.


Always take care of yourself from the inside out-living your best life depends on it.

F- Fight The Good Fight

When the storms come and the rain falls it pours; you can get blinded by it all and feel like giving up (trust me, I know). 


On your journey of evolution or when seeking to become the best version of yourself, you need to know that the battle and the storms are worth it.


How can you think otherwise? 
How could you allow the bad to take over and then let everything shift into a negative space?
Why would want to? Because it is easier….? Because it will please someone else…?
Stop…now. Shake it all up.


Mental and physical health mean so much to not only you, but everyone around you.
When you think about battles that affect you, how do you handle them? 


You need to put your everything into all that you do no matter how hard it may seem or who may say something negative. Do you know why? Simply because you have to. You must dig deep, fight hard, and believe in something.


FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!
If you are pushing for something, growing into yourself, revolutionizing your life, doing something new, etc. fight for it!


I promise you no matter what it is that you are fighting for, everything that you feel leading up to that moment of achievement matters.


The empty spaces, tear-filled eyes, lost voice, long nights, stressful papers, terrifying exams, closed doors, and everything in between is worth it.


Keep fighting!
Keep pushing!


Think about people all around the world and how so many people have to fight to have food, clean water, medicine, warmth, a doctor’s visit, etc. Now, think about yourself…what are you facing? Not to say that one problem is greater than another, but you are already blessed beyond measure and have so much to offer others even when the storms roll in.


If you don’t have that fight (will) inside of you, you will not get where you are trying to go.


If something has been placed on your heart, (some will to do good things), you owe it to yourself and the world to fight for it like you have never fought for anything before.


How you fight and what you are willing to put in says a lot about your character…shouldn’t you be showing yourself that you are worth fighting that good fight? Of course you should!!

Isaiah 1:17
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” If your friend/neighbor/family member needs help fighting their fight, do whatever you can (within personally-set boundaries) to help them…this is what you are supposed to do. If you have the space or the platform to do good, even if it is as small as a call, post, speaking engagement, listing on an information board, do it! God sees that spark lingering inside of you and I promise you that if you do something with it, you will do so much good for the world. Do not give up now.


If it is your health that is ailing you or failing you, fight until you cannot fight anymore; ask for help if you need to/want to. Do not let anything stop you. 


If it is your business/school that is making you fearful, concerned, scared of change or anything else, remember that change is good; even if you can’t see that now, let me tell you that you will one day understand. No matter what don’t give up and don’t give in.


Believe me, God and/or the Universe are making a special place for you to do all that you are working toward activating.


Galatians 6:9
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” No one knows your reason nor your season except you and God, so keep it in your bubble if that is where you want to keep it-that is fine; sometimes it is best to keep things to yourself. Please, promise yourself that you are only keeping it to yourself for safe keeping, not to hide it and dim your light/opportunity to do something good.


Whether there is a shift in love, education, business, finances, growth, opportunities or anything

else please fight the good fight. Work with what you have an make a difference…because you can! I believe in you.


Fight the good fight, and don’t just do it for you, do it for me, your neighbor, your family, your community, and the world…we all need you.

***Health Spotlight*** Acute Flaccid Myelitis (CDC Research)
Symptoms: respiratory illness, fever, weakness and/or pain in legs or arms, changes in movement of eyes, drooping in face, difficulty swallowing or slurred speech. Respiratory failure is one of the most serious symptoms.
Prevalence: still considered a rare and serious illness but there has been a significant rise since 2014; mostly young children are affected, but adults can contract the disease. Less than 1-2 in a million children in the US will get AFM annually. There has been over 500 confirmed cases since 2014 (CDC).
Possible causes: viruses such as enteroviruses (poliovirus, enterovirusA71, and West Nile virus). Of course there is not a certainty about what causes the condition, but it is up to you as parents/family members to vaccinate your kids. Do not jump into the hype of non-vaccination, as you can very much be putting your child’s life in danger. Do real research, it matters. We didn’t come this far by ignoring sound research and healthy developments in medicine.
Prevention: Vaccination, protect against mosquito bites, get rid of stagnant water, wash your hands appropriately and often, avoid close contact with those that are ill.
Treatment: not one route of treatment; physicians may recommended physical therapy along with other treament options.


You must make the right choices and fight for the good fight when it comes to your health. You are responsible for most outcomes. You must do your reading/research via reputable sources, ask questions, and help others get access to the care that they need. We are not individuals walking around without deep knowledge/information at our fingertips. Pay attention and make the right (and wise) decisions for you, your family, everyone you and your kids come in contact with, and the world; we must all depend on and lean on one another.

E- Executing Personal Elegance

Divinely you were created and brought to this Earth. Divinely things occur and arrive in your life and that of everyone around you. Clearly this means that not only do you have a purpose but there is elegance and grace built into you.



Often the world and the media present false images that many follow and get caught into, but what does that mean for you. You are all that is presented to you, so don’t allow yourself to become something that you aren’t.



You may be surprised by how much things affect you by simply appearing in an image. Just as quickly as you read this blog, your thoughts are immediately deepening and shifting. Since you know that to be true, think about how other things pop up or present themselves online or in your personal life and may cause negative shifts in your thoughts.



You are of elegance, so you have to fight regularly to stay in that light and mentality.



If there is an element of negativity, you need to think twice about letting it stay in your presence. 



If something or someone is making you feel like you are unworthy of success, check yourself and look into that mirror again!



If you run into a space in your life where you feel like you aren’t pretty enough or talented enough, check yourself and remember your elegance and uniqueness.



Personal elegance is not determined nor maintained by the standards of others. 



Personal elegance is what you make it to be.



Uphold yourself to the highest of standards even when no one looking, so that when you present yourself you radiate light and pure happiness.



Personal elegance can be linked to all that you are. It means appearance, character, successes, happiness, love, peace, accomplishments and so much more.



For all of those images of false “perfection”, know that not all that people present is the truth of who they are from the inside out.



A pretty face, fancy clothes, and luxury living do not equate a happy heart or good character. As you observe the world around you check the meaning and think deeper. 



When you wake up, who are you?

When you talk to your friends who are you? What do you display?
When you embrace the presence of your loved ones, who are you?
When you are at work, who are you?
If all of these people are different, you may need to do some re-evaluation. You may not be executing your own personal elegance at the highest level.


Your truth and your elegance should be so apparent that they are presented and connected to your character/all that you are. 



Of course there will be negative people speaking against who you are…but let it be. If you are executing your personal elegance you are already being the best and no one can shake that.



Ephesians 2:10

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
No one can tell you or show you who you are. You are in charge of becoming who you were created to be. There are so many wonderful things about you and even more great things that you can do to bless others. Never think that you are less than amazing, because it is simply not true.


Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.”
Think of all of the beautiful things about the world that we live in even when there is darkness presenting itself. 


Romans 12:2

“Do not conform to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” There are things far more important than outer appearance or false images of happiness, so be all that you present from the inside-out. Change your thoughts, your family and all that you will bless in your future depending on it.
