U- Ultimate Celebration

Do you ever give yourself the opportunity to celebrate yourself?


Think of how many events, birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, holiday parties, graduations, etc. that you have been to. Surely they were all a grand celebration to go down into the history books.


However, when it comes to the things that you accomplish or achieve do you applaud yourself?


If you are anything like me, you can always find the times to celebrate, applaud, and gift others, but have to make a mountain move to give yourself love and cheer for yourself.


Well, let us start changing that right now!


Everytime that you do something amazing reward yourself and celebrate it, even if that means that you are doing so alone.



It took four months for me to finally celebrate myself and I am not sure why, but it was unfair and kind of sad. I almost felt depressed for a bit and I felt that maybe I shouldn’t share the greatness with others. Maybe it was the devil feeding me fear, doubt, or thoughts of lack. Whatever it was, I had to overcome it.
That all changes from here on out. Even if you don’t have someone to celebrate with, make yourself happy, cheer yourself on, and see how amazing you truly are.

Today, I celebrate myself for the amazing work that I have done in the past two years and for the next significant step in my journey through elevating myself. I graduated with my MPH with High Distinction (4.0 GPA).

Today, I applaud you for doing amazing things in your life and in the world. You are phenomenal! You have a cheerleader in me and I will forever be rooting for all of the positive, loving, kind, and wonderful things that you do!

Psalm 98:4
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” Cheer, shout, yell, jump for joy, sing, you deserve it. God is SO good and He has done so much for you.
The Universe is bringing forth all that you work hard for and meditated on, so why shouldn’t you be proud and joyful?!!


John 15:11
“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” Joy is something that is embedded into the very fibers of your being, let it shine, let is rise up and through you. 


Giving yourself that love and reminding yourself of how proud you are can be a blessing to you and truly be pleasing to God. He has blessed your path to reach those fabulous goals, be joyful and let nothing stop you from doing so!

Urinary Tract Infection
Prevalence- Approx. 150 million people annually
Symptoms- cloudy urine, cramping, urge to urinate, burning while urinating
Treatment: depends on severity; can be antibiotics and drinking fluids.
Prevention- wear loose fit clothing, drink healthy liquids regularly, mind your diet and practice healthy living
Please take good care of yourself and your family. Health should be your number one priority; without it, you can’t enjoy and appreciate the fruit of your efforts.

R – Relieve Your Pain

Let’s chat about the hard days and moments. 



Fill in your own answers…



How many times have you cried yourself to sleep?

How many friends have you lost?
How many losses have you experienced/lived through?
How many times have you convinced yourself that you were unhappy?
How many times have you stayed in a broken relationship?
How many times have you forgiven others?
How many times have you beaten yourself down?


The questions could go on and on, but the real question that you should ask yourself is “what did you learn”.



You must be willing to give yourself permission to relieve your pain.



Without permission to heal, how can you move forward?



Are you walking around with your perceived “brokenness” on your sleeves? 



You should be a walking story, but not one housing the pain of your past.



People are not always what they seem and books’ finest and most beautiful details are not found on their covers.



Re-create your life, fill your heart with what you love, make yourself truly happy, feed your soul, reinvent your everything and show yourself true relief and healing.



John 16:33

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” Although you may have faced pain you must remember that you do not have hold strong to it. He bore it all!


Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” His promises are grand! His vision for your life is perfect! No matter what you faced, the best is yet to come if you believe, hold strong to your faith, and put in the work.


Give yourself hope and freedom, relieve your pain.



If your pain is in your past, shouldn’t your power and freedom be in your present and future? Live it up!

***Health Spotlight*** Rotavirus 

Symptoms: severe watery diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain, vomiting, loss of appetite and dehydration.
Prevalence: most common in infants and young children, but adults can get the disease. Vaccinated children are less likely to get sick from rotavirus. 2013- over 200,000 children died from rotavirus (worldwide).
Treatment; no specific medicine, but doctor may recommend certain medication to treat symptoms.

M- Meditate to Mediate

When you are panning through different areas of concern in your life or trying to understand how to get from one level to the next, one of the most important things to do is to see it all happening.


Start with a dream or vision and make it real by allowing it to come into reality within your mind. 


You start a mental race inside of yourself when you first dream up anything that you want in life.


Just like anything else you have to put a strong focus on the effort and begin to work on it within your mind to make it all happen.


Teach yourself to meditate on whatever area that you are trying to grow into. I meditate with guided meditation and/or music to get in tune with myself, align my chakras, and grow into new spaces. You don’t have to do formal cross your legs and say “Ohm” meditating to get in tune; the most important aspect is to focus on one area of concern.


Not to sound cocky or anything, but some of the greatest answers can come from inside of you. You shouldn’t invite everyone to your mental table, because you may be served a dish that you cannot digest or that may bring you more harm than good.


When you invite people into your space it can be quite difficult to hear the truth and what you should do, as words of advice can biased, filled with judgment, or not helpful in your life.


What you zone into within yourself will contribute to whatever you are experiencing. To use myself as an example, I have had to sit with my thoughts about school and my future career; I know that only me and God can push the effort, so I talk to God in length at absolute minimum twice a day. 


In prayer or meditation you go in seeking truth and answers; if you are truly listening beyond the realms of your heart and you become fervent in your practice you will receive direct and clear answers. Teach yourself to go from meditation or prayer warrior to conqueror and achiever.


One of my favorite things to do is step into nature and simply feel the air; this is another space for getting in tune with myself and spending alone time with God.


When you meditate to mediate you can reach answers and spaces that you could not have even imagined prior to entering that time.


Let’s talk a look at a couple of bible verses to truly reel this in.


Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” If we live knowing that God is wanting us to train our mind, strengthen our focus and maintain clarity in what He wants us to do, why shouldn’t we be fixing our eyes on Him especially in prayer and meditation. Those times of silence/focus are a way of calling God directly as asking Him to speak to our hearts. In our silence we can hear clearly as we are free of distractions, and get closer to higher powers and/or more in tune with the Universal callings.


Psalms 49:3
“My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding.” This is one of my favorite verses! If you are teaching yourself through reading, prayer, and wise counsel how to walk in your purpose giving God the glory all the way through, guess what will loosen-YOUR BLESSINGS! Meditation is a form of prayer, so take the time to make it a priority and do it regularly. 


No matter what you are facing it is so important to see good things happening, encourage yourself through and through, and be thankful in the good and bad times. Remember that giants do fall! The enemy and/or the devil is lingering and wants to take over, so speak against that and fight for what you want. Wipe away your tears, pray, meditate and believe that God/the Universe is working in your favor. Meditate to mediate and watch how things start become as clear as ever.

Mental Health
Millions of people face and/or live with mental health concerns that affect their everyday lives. Whether it is you, a friend, loved one, or someone that you consider an acquaintance, it is important to understand exactly what they are facing and how it may be intertwined with their lives. Listen to concerns; mental health concerns are not always exposed in a physical sense, so be kind, respectful and understanding if someone you know is living with any type of mental condition. Be a good listener, do not laugh at someone because of how tough of a time that they may be having, and do whatever you can to help them. Help loved one find resources that can help them live their best lives and remember that mental health issues are a major concern that can be addressed at many levels. Let us all be there for each other, become well-educated on mental concerns, and support one another in whatever we may be facing. Meditate, seek help, and pray about what you may be facing and know that there are many people that care about you and will whatever they can to help you. I’m praying for you and I can give you guidance on where to turn if you need any time of health assistance.

F- Fight The Good Fight

When the storms come and the rain falls it pours; you can get blinded by it all and feel like giving up (trust me, I know). 


On your journey of evolution or when seeking to become the best version of yourself, you need to know that the battle and the storms are worth it.


How can you think otherwise? 
How could you allow the bad to take over and then let everything shift into a negative space?
Why would want to? Because it is easier….? Because it will please someone else…?
Stop…now. Shake it all up.


Mental and physical health mean so much to not only you, but everyone around you.
When you think about battles that affect you, how do you handle them? 


You need to put your everything into all that you do no matter how hard it may seem or who may say something negative. Do you know why? Simply because you have to. You must dig deep, fight hard, and believe in something.


FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!
If you are pushing for something, growing into yourself, revolutionizing your life, doing something new, etc. fight for it!


I promise you no matter what it is that you are fighting for, everything that you feel leading up to that moment of achievement matters.


The empty spaces, tear-filled eyes, lost voice, long nights, stressful papers, terrifying exams, closed doors, and everything in between is worth it.


Keep fighting!
Keep pushing!


Think about people all around the world and how so many people have to fight to have food, clean water, medicine, warmth, a doctor’s visit, etc. Now, think about yourself…what are you facing? Not to say that one problem is greater than another, but you are already blessed beyond measure and have so much to offer others even when the storms roll in.


If you don’t have that fight (will) inside of you, you will not get where you are trying to go.


If something has been placed on your heart, (some will to do good things), you owe it to yourself and the world to fight for it like you have never fought for anything before.


How you fight and what you are willing to put in says a lot about your character…shouldn’t you be showing yourself that you are worth fighting that good fight? Of course you should!!

Isaiah 1:17
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” If your friend/neighbor/family member needs help fighting their fight, do whatever you can (within personally-set boundaries) to help them…this is what you are supposed to do. If you have the space or the platform to do good, even if it is as small as a call, post, speaking engagement, listing on an information board, do it! God sees that spark lingering inside of you and I promise you that if you do something with it, you will do so much good for the world. Do not give up now.


If it is your health that is ailing you or failing you, fight until you cannot fight anymore; ask for help if you need to/want to. Do not let anything stop you. 


If it is your business/school that is making you fearful, concerned, scared of change or anything else, remember that change is good; even if you can’t see that now, let me tell you that you will one day understand. No matter what don’t give up and don’t give in.


Believe me, God and/or the Universe are making a special place for you to do all that you are working toward activating.


Galatians 6:9
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” No one knows your reason nor your season except you and God, so keep it in your bubble if that is where you want to keep it-that is fine; sometimes it is best to keep things to yourself. Please, promise yourself that you are only keeping it to yourself for safe keeping, not to hide it and dim your light/opportunity to do something good.


Whether there is a shift in love, education, business, finances, growth, opportunities or anything

else please fight the good fight. Work with what you have an make a difference…because you can! I believe in you.


Fight the good fight, and don’t just do it for you, do it for me, your neighbor, your family, your community, and the world…we all need you.

***Health Spotlight*** Acute Flaccid Myelitis (CDC Research)
Symptoms: respiratory illness, fever, weakness and/or pain in legs or arms, changes in movement of eyes, drooping in face, difficulty swallowing or slurred speech. Respiratory failure is one of the most serious symptoms.
Prevalence: still considered a rare and serious illness but there has been a significant rise since 2014; mostly young children are affected, but adults can contract the disease. Less than 1-2 in a million children in the US will get AFM annually. There has been over 500 confirmed cases since 2014 (CDC).
Possible causes: viruses such as enteroviruses (poliovirus, enterovirusA71, and West Nile virus). Of course there is not a certainty about what causes the condition, but it is up to you as parents/family members to vaccinate your kids. Do not jump into the hype of non-vaccination, as you can very much be putting your child’s life in danger. Do real research, it matters. We didn’t come this far by ignoring sound research and healthy developments in medicine.
Prevention: Vaccination, protect against mosquito bites, get rid of stagnant water, wash your hands appropriately and often, avoid close contact with those that are ill.
Treatment: not one route of treatment; physicians may recommended physical therapy along with other treament options.


You must make the right choices and fight for the good fight when it comes to your health. You are responsible for most outcomes. You must do your reading/research via reputable sources, ask questions, and help others get access to the care that they need. We are not individuals walking around without deep knowledge/information at our fingertips. Pay attention and make the right (and wise) decisions for you, your family, everyone you and your kids come in contact with, and the world; we must all depend on and lean on one another.

Overcoming & Eliminating Self-Pity

Most of us have been at the root of a problem or situation, but how often do we really take the time to acknowledge faults or words that should not have been spoken?


Even if you feel that you have not been a part of a problem, you have likely witnessed a friend or loved one experience this.


Yes, you surely can take the time to go through a “woe is me” phase. Along with that you can also sit an have a pity party for weeks on end. The real question is will your “woe is me” time or your pity party bring you to an absolute answer that will create a shift in your world? The answer is probably no.


You can’t move forward and go beyond internalizing a problem if you cannot accept your faults and grow from them. 


No matter what you face in life, if you feel that you had a place in the breakdown of events then you need to do some reflection. Maybe the fault is on you…maybe not…you need to understand this clearly.


Pitying yourself will only cause a domino effect and a roller coaster of emotions. 


Take it step by step. Write it down. Look at what happened and how you may have added to it. Understand your position in the problems that you may face.


To heal and grow, you must take must personal inventory. Do you really know who you are? Do you know how you behave in an argument? Are you an effective communicator? Do you find it easier to avoid and runaway than to face an issue?


You must be able to look inside of yourself and have a real answer to all of these questions. Once you know the answers to these questions only then can you truly see who you are and grow from your mistakes or problems faced.


Think about it this way, could you ever learn how to do something like tie your shoes if at first you were not taught or did not make a mistake? No.


There are elements in life that you must face and self-pity is not one of those things.


If things are not as you may want them to be, stop and go a different direction or try a different option. 


To have a happy and healthy life you must dig inside of yourself and spread your wisdom to others; in this you must also be open enough to listen to and understand life lessons taught by others.


2 Timothy 1:7 ” For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.” You must be able to understand what is faced and go through a period of self-evolution. God gave your a brain and He teaches you lessons along your journey through life; it is up to you to be wise enough to take those lessons and use them for your good. You are fully-equipped to be a warrior and a blessing to the world around you, so make the best of every moment and every situation. The Universe is a part of your core being; you can have an be all things that you aspire to have and work diligently to be. God and the Universe are on your side, so choose your thoughts and behavior wisely. Grow up and choose self-esteem over self-pity.


Romans 12:3 “For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.” You are not perfect and if you are facing a problem with someone else, they aren’t perfect either. You need to face what is beyond the mirror and become all that you are called to be. 


If you can accept your flaws, you can grow from what may be holding you back. You can become anything/anyone, so suit up, stop weeping, let go of that horrible anger, and put on your armor.


You have all that you need inside of you…don’t be stubborn.

***Health Spotlight***
Psittacosis: A disease linked to the bacteria C. psittaci. The bacteria affects birds often, but it can infect people in the form of the disease Psittacosis. The disease is caused by a respiratory tract infection. The types of birds connected to this disease can include household pets like parrots and cockatiels, and can branch out to poultry.  Dust particles from dried secretions can be breathed in; birds can also infect people via bites and beak-to-mouth contact. It is not generally spread person-to-person. The symptoms linked to this disease include: fever, headache, and a dry cough. The illness could possibly lead to pneumonia; rarely it can lead to death. The people at risk: adults, those in contact with pet birds, aviary and pet shop employees, poultry workers, and veterinarians. Diagnosis via blood testing to detect antibodies and/or sputum swabs to detect bacteria (CDC). Treatment is via antibiotics will lead to quick improvements. Be mindful of your surroundings and the needs of your body, and as always seek the help of a trusted physician or healthcare whenever needed (there are many budget-friendly physicians).

U-Uproot

Uproot- to remove or pull up by the roots

I often tell people that they need to get unstuck from their situation and to not become “stuck on stupid”…let’s address what they means and how you can do it, as well.

Often we see ourselves or people we love get “stuck” in a relationship, “stuck” at a job we may not like, “stuck” living in a place that is not ideal, etc. What I want you to ask yourself is are you/they really stuck? The answer is no.

Everyday we make a choice to do things, stay in a relationship, stay at a job, keep living in a certain place, etc. It is your decision to be in the situation that you are in. You have the opportunity to get out of your “dry place”.

UPROOT YOURSELF!
No one will walk around carrying a basket of happiness, promises, and money…you must chose to get out, remove yourself, better yourself and make a change. No it will not be easy.

If you have ever been abused in any form, you know that it can seem impossible to leave, but it can be done. Talk to someone who can understand and will not judge you. Gain your strength and uproot your heart from one of the highest levels of mental and physical toxicity. Uproot your mind from pain, torture, destruction, confusion, and misery; you deserve better than what you are facing every day and you know it.

If you have ever stayed at a job just because you need a paycheck and to pay your bills, you know how miserable every day can be. Use your “extra” time or make “extra” time and re-shape your life to build a life and career that you love and are proud of. No, it will not happen overnight. No, there will not always be someone that can help you financially, watch your kids, or calm you down when those night/weekend/3 week courses seem to make you feel overwhelmed…but it can be done. If you know that you deserve more out of a job (like, a career that you love), then do what it takes to make it happen. God and the universe will make a way if only you put in the effort and speak out loud that you need help; express what you want, what you need, and what you are doing to make it happen. Live in that feeling of completion and gained success; if you feel it, envision it, and belief it…so it will be. Uproot yourself from that job that is subjecting you to discrimination, low pay, no opportunities to advance, etc. If you want success, go get it!

If you find yourself still living in the same place/area that you came from and you are happy about that, that is okay only if it is an area that you have found success, abundance and prosperity in (for yourself). If it is not all that you have ever wanted, then what are you doing to yourself and your family? Are you really proud of yourself for not rising up and evolving? You need to give yourself a reality check, if you are. You are blessed beyond measure and have new opportunities granted to you every morning. If you are satisfied with mediocrity and not evolving then you are denying your chance at success, an abundant life, and happiness in seeing yourself reach all of your goals. Shake those small thoughts off and start thinking bigger.

If you are someone who is confused or you think that you may need to be uprooted, please know that someone who really cares about you will tell you the truth even when you do not want to hear it. I would much rather serve you a freezing bowl of the cold hard truth that watch you cry buckets of tears or live in years of disappointment or misery.

Proverbs 4: 23
“Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.”
If you think that you have reached as high as you can in your life, you will receive nothing more. If you change your thinking and uproot yourself from what confines/binds you, you will attain more.

The thoughts and words that you think or say are put out into the universe…so be careful.

God did not promise you a life of pain. Here’s a few things that He did promise:
Nothing will separate you from God’s love. Psalms 8:38-39
He made you intentionally and knows you intimately. Psalms 139-13-14
He has plans of prosperity and hope attached to your life. Jeremiah 29:11
You are favored. Psalms 5:12
You can do ALL things. Philipians 4:13

Come out of your dry place… stand on God’s promises and all that the universe can provide to you by uprooting your mind from it’s current state.

Upper Respiratory Infection- This infection/illness affects millions of people annually and is present across the globe. Pay close attention to your environment, mind what you consume, be physically active and use sanitary practices including regular and thorough hand washing techniques. Don’t ignore symptoms, be mindful of what your home, city, and job expose you to. This spreads illness easily. Encourage your family and friends to seek medical attention if they feel ill.

N-Nurturing

What does nurturing mean to you? Where do you find yourself nurturing anyone/anything?
Is it in your garden? Is it with your children? Is it with your spouse/significant other?


Are you nurturing yourself? When was the last time that you took inventory on your own life? When was the last time you did something for yourself?


If you are not taking care of yourself, you should take the time to do that (something special, even if that means buying yourself a ice cream cone) at least once a week. Your heart, mind, and soul deserve all of the love you can give to anyone else and then some. Challenge yourself to make your personal (mental and physical health) garden grow. If you are running around in the chaos of life, I know that it can be difficult to truly tune into yourself…but you must do it. 


The phrase “take care” is part mental and part physical. If you are unable to care for yourself, how can you care for anyone else or perform well in school or work? If you are unable to take care of yourself on a regular basis, how can you offer 100% in anything that you do? You can’t because it will not be available to give. You must make changes internally and nurture yourself. 


Nurturing yourself can come in many forms: change in health, meditating, change in daily behavior, change in habitual choices, change in diet, addressing medical prevention, going back to school, gaining a type of certification, getting regular manicures, going to the spa regularly, etc.


Phillipians 2:4
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” 
You are supposed to care for yourself and others, if you wish you to have and lead a life full of purpose and beautiful meaning. Challenge yourself to be your own full-time nurturer and watch how the right people will walk into your life.


Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Sure, life is tough and growing in wisdom is just as tough, but you can do it. You are put to the test everyday, and you have the choice to make a change or stay the same. By changing your mindset, you can better nurture yourself and all around you. Know the you will receive what you put out into the world. God will bless you and the universe will reciprocate and further provide great things if you are doing great things with humility and compassion.


Nurture yourself today and always, and watch how beautifully your mental and physical garden will grow.


Nurturing yourself via your health will further your life. Take care of yourself, someone needs you.

M- Manifest (Move Forward)

In the adjective form the word manifest means “clear or obvious to the eye or mind.”

You have the power to make things come into fruition and it all starts in your mind.
Anything that you want you can have.  In fact, you already have it you just have to tap into it and make it happen.
Whether your choice/method is in using vision boards, doing meditation regularly, or reaching new heights in prayers, you have the power to make your hopes and dreams your reality.
The question that you must ask yourself and know the answer to is: “what do I want in my life?” Do you know the answer to that question? If you do not, it is certainly time to embrace a few moments of silence and put that answer on paper. If you can not take the time to ask yourself serious questions you will certainly not have the time to make your dreams a reality. You must be willing to make sacrifices, cry those tears, stay up late, wake up early, heal yourself internally and ensure that you are happy and consistently living in your purpose.

Everything that you could ever want is already inside of you. Take a few moments as soon as you wake up every day and be thankful for another day, and envision yourself already in the position that you want to be in. Feel that happiness, joy, peace and beauty that you are living in, in your future… That is how you manifest whatever you are wanting in your life.
2 Corinthians 13:5
“Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?”
Examine what is inside of yourself. Do you believe in yourself, have faith in yourself, have faith in higher power, have faith and/or believe what the universe can bring forth? Whether you believe in God or not, much can be said about believing in yourself and having the ability to move forward.
If you believe in yourself, you can do absolutely anything that you put your mind to. I’m a witness, it is not going to be easy. You must fight if you wish  to reach each of your goals. If you do not believe in yourself, nothing that you want to have and/or wish to achieve will happen. You must believe in yourself.
If you do not believe in yourself, what would make you think that anyone else will believe in you or take you seriously.
Step away from that which binds you. Detach yourself from that negative environment. What is around you or what you see in your circle is not what you are confined to. MOVE FORWARD!
Proverbs 1:32
“For the waywardness of the naive will kill them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them.”
Do not become blind to your flaws; know them well and know how to better yourself. Use your brain!
Nothing will happen after the 1st day of manifestation, after your 1st day at the new job, after one day back in prayer. Be consistent and know that things will happen in the physical realm when it is supposed to. Be consistent. One foot in front of the other is how you walk… now you know that is also how you talk, and how you will manifest. Stagnancy and settling for mediocrity will not take you to the next level. You are in charge! If you need help, do not be afraid to ask for it; seek wise counsel…it is there for you.
Manifest and move forward!

Your mental health is a prominent key to your future successes. Are you leading a mindful, merry, life? If you aren’t what in the world are you waiting for? Make the changes, manifest it! You are always in charge.

Emotion Shifting-Part 1

Do you ever feel like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed and the rest of your day just doesn’t go right?
If you change your thought process in that first moment of anger, anxiety, or pure frustration, everything else will change too.
Take responsibility for your feelings, your life, and all of your actions. 

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

You’re human, not perfection… but you can create changes that shape your life and help you to become a better person.
One small change can make a world of a difference. Try it out and tell me what happens.

What is change?
What are our lives but elements of change?


Have you been wanting things to just get better? Have you been
feeling financially burdened on a regular basis?


Do you want something better? Someone better?

Guess what is holding you back… YOU!!

Education is to knowledge as character is to respect.
Everything that you want and everything that you want to be, you can do and/or achieve!!


Every morning that you wake up you have another day to change,
evolve, grow, and LIVE IN YOUR PURPOSE- LIVE LIFE ON PURPOSE. Use your
God-given gifts and talents!


You know the basic difference between a rich man and a poor man?
Nothing, at all. We all have the same 24 hours!


If you want to make a change, make the change!

Nothing is going to just fall into your lap.


Sure it may be hard, but think about what could happen if you only try! Imagine
what might be there just beyond that barrier of comfort.


Break the mold!

The time that you spend just scrolling on Facebook, posting on Instagram, and using filters for fun on Snapchat could be time that you are
networking on LinkedIn, filling out your FAFSA, looking at online courses (busy dad/mom), etc.


Ephesians 5:15-16
“Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” The world is full of opportunities (limitless, boundless
opportunities). God grants new mercies every morning. God never stops shaping and molding you; he sees all knows all and can give you all that your heart desires. The Universe, that which lives inside of you, is always at work…there are no slow moments or days off. Every day that you do not seek knowledge or challenge yourself to take that next step, you are missing out and so is the person/people that you are to bless/support.



Proverbs 14:15 
“The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.” Don’t fall for what someone tells you to do or not do without research and seeking further insight. Every step that you take matters. Your hours and days are numbered…what will you do with your time to become who you are called to be or all that you dream to be?

Meditate, make that vision board, and be the change that you want to see!


Claim things that you want, and act as they are already
physically present. (MANIFEST)

Chagas Disease (also know as American trypanosomiasis): This neglected parasitic infection disease is caused by a parasite Trypanosoma cruzi and is transmitted to animals and people via the triatomine bug (sometimes known as the kissing bug). It is more common in Mexico, Central America, South America, and rural Latin America, in areas of widespread poverty (CDC). Chagas is an endemic in these areas, as people are at greatest risk there. More than 300,000 people with T. cruzi live in the US and acquired the infection in other countries. Infection can be from mom-child, from contaminated blood transfusions, organ transplant, lab accident, or contaminated food and/or drinks. It can last up to a few months; there can be swelling, changes in heart rhythm difficulties swallowing, and bowel issues, Blood work will lead to diagnosis by observing the parasite under a microscope; other testing can be performed (CDC). People with weakened/suppressed immune systems need to be seek a physician immediately; there is treatment via medication is available (WHO). Prevention methods include being mindful of where you sleep, using bed nets, using insecticides, doing home improvement, and practicing good hygiene and cleanliness. Seek the help of a physician or caregiver as soon as possible. Take good care of yourself and your families.
