Servitude Without Self-Serving Feelings

Giving is a gift in itself, and we do this very action in countless ways every day.

Serving others is one way that we change the world one moment at a time.

It is important to remember throughout every giving season of life that when we are in positions of servitude that we are giving from a space that is not self-serving or for some reward.

Gifts given in return whether on Earth or in Heaven are beautiful and blessing, but we should give because it is the right thing to do, not just because we expect to receive something in return.

Apply this lesson of servitude without selfishness to business, love, family relationships, volunteering, etc. and know that the message is the same. 

When we can give with a loving heart, we notice that there is a difference in the way that we carry ourselves, how we our efforts are delivered, and the way that we feel once our deeds have been completed.

This year I chose to spend a lot of time in humanitarian efforts and mentoring and it has been empowering in so many ways. I wanted to give back to women in spaces of leadership, public health, education, and those overcoming life difficulties while personal evolving. I learned a lot about these ladies, and they challenged me to think deeper about life lessons that I have gathered along the way. They also taught me about how strong they were; I could not help but to be proud of them at every turn.

Tapping into what makes you who you are, using what you have learned, utilizing your education and things you are learning as you grow are all way spaces in which you can serve without being self-serving – all of these things are gifts and blessings to others that you can mold and shape along the way.

Servitude can be:

A paying career/thriving business

Humanitarian efforts/volunteering work

Virtually free from self-serving/ego and prideful feelings

Servitude is a gift that we can grant in all spaces of life, but the way that we deliver these gifts will influence the giver and the receiver.

Choose to serve in a way that is for the good of others. Being a humanitarian in ways that are connected to your hearts and gifts will nourish your soul while you bless others. If you do these works and live with a mindset of servitude without self-serving feelings or desires, you will see how much of a difference your gifts can make in the lives of others.

Definition
We often hear the word prosperity and hear of people who have walked in, welcomed, and lived in prosperity.  How many times have we looked at what that word prosperity means at the heart of it all? Do you know how that word plays a role in your life?


Think About It
If we examine prosperity, we will find that it is multifaceted and full of possibilities, no matter your walk of life.


At the root and core of all prosperity is your well-being; never forget that. Comfort and security in your life and environment are at the next level. The third level is all that glimmers: opportunities, wealth, a success that always blossoms, every day bountiful living, limitless thriving in life, and the greatness that has been planted and fruits. Throughout each level there is an intertwined bunch of joy; feel that and never let that leave you.


Individual View of Prosperity
Prosperity is defined as your vision and obtained clarity on success, abundance, peace, and inner joy. When you can get curious about what prosperity means for you, then you can build the life that you want and deserve. After all, the x-ray of prosperity can evolve with the effort that you may put into the realization of your grandest dreams.


Real empowerment lives at the center of our developed prosperity; affirmations to encourage and welcome that growth makes your dreams become your reality.

Prosperity is not something that comes and goes; it becomes a part of your lifestyle. When you are blessed to be prosperous, you will see fruits of it in your life and continue to evolve for the better because of what you have done to reach that level and all that you are. Nothing that comes into your life is happenstance; it is rooted in a gift given to you that is connected to the good deeds that you perform and grant in your life.  You must put in work and live a life that is likened to your beliefs, morals, values, and wanted outcomes for yourself and others.

Think About It
With every step that we take in life, there is a lesson to be learned. Each person that we encounter in life has been set forth to provide us with something to be learned and applied to our lives. Every conversation that we have affects our mental space and how we evolve as people and leaders. 


How can we fully walk into our greatness and future prosperity if wisdom is not intact?


*Where Does Come From & How Can We Keep It?

  • Wisdom begins as a message
  • We take in the nuggets of information as seeds to plant in our mental gardens
  • We learn and grow by watering and nurturing those seeds
  • We evolve, transform and blossom because of each loving step in taking care of those seeds (messages)
  • Keep this wisdom by teaching others, sharing knowledge, growing into your destiny and purpose, and by gifting the world with your generated businesses and careers that come from that wisdom. When you learn you grow. Taking the time to understand the impact of that growth is so important because it opens opportunities for changes in your lifestyle and that of your family.

Reflection
When we can create a library of wisdom in our minds from planted seeds, we can reach and teach the world with what we learn, grow, and embody.

Wisdom intact is the way to create your future. Do not limit your learning. I love to learn, hence why I am committed to learning for life and I will soon be Dr. KayLa. Everything we learn contributes to the future of what we do in our careers and family lives.

U - Unified Self

U – Unified Self

Wisdom
Any aim for your life requires full commitment from you.  Taking steps and evolving will also mean that you bring together what you need from the inside-out. Let’s look at the work unified – means to bring things together in a uniform manner.

Experience
I remember when I thought that a degree would change everything, but that’s not enough. Mental growth is only a part of the journey that we all must embark upon in our personal transformation.

Tools
To be your unified self you must:
Understand your personal gaps (in health, mentality, and emotional stability)
Challenge yourself to break barriers and typical norms
Care for yourself (mind, body, and spirit) every day, while remembering that it isn’t selfish to do so
Keep learning (and this doesn’t have to mean years and years in school)
Empower yourself and find the tools to do that effectively
Make time for evaluation of your growth, so that you can develop a plan to continue to evolve
Eat in a way that is conducive (in alignment) with the life that you want
Meditate, pray, and reflect (you’re not in this alone, I promise)
Control your inner and outer environment
Eliminate negativity
Let go of your past
AND WHATEVER ELSE IS NECESSARY TO BE WHOLE WITHIN YOURSELF

Reflect
We have all learned and grown from many facets of life, but that doesn’t mean that we have to let those things bind us. The unified self flourishes because it is when we care enough and are aware enough to figure out what may be holding us back in any way. Only when we can move into a place of inner curiosity can we create realities from possibilities with our unified selves.

A plan for greatness is just a plan until we can grant ourselves permission to become whole and able to conquer what life will bring forth.

Bringing together your unified self will shine a lot on all that you are capable of doing.  The goodness and beauty of a mission that isn’t self-serving are powerful, wonderful, and blessed. You have warmth, love, and a consistent realm of consist that are always around and within you. When the little voice in your head suggests a shift or brings love to your heart pay attention to what that means and make the most of it through your unified self.

T – Treat Yourself Well

How many times have you heard the relatable phrase, “The struggle is real”? I know that I hear it or read it somewhere at least once a day. It can be rather unfortunate that we can so easily relate in struggles, but not in how we overcome them.  People can read empowerment books, subscribe to blogs/vlogs, take in spiritual messages, pamper themselves with external self-care, and generate vision boards every six months (all of which are excellent tools), but it still isn’t enough to get you where you need to be.

How well do you treat yourself on the inside?

If positivity and empowerment aren’t fueling the vehicle of your life, you may need to trade and upgrade to something more reliable.

There is goodness in so many places and spaces within the world waiting for you to take just a bit of it and turn your life’s purpose into something wonderful. You must first treat yourself with high regard, humbleness, and compassion. If we take the time (and put in the effort) to wisely evolve ourselves inside and out, we have a magnificent opportunity to help so many others.

Whether we can always see it or not, life is about transforming ourselves for the greater good. Sure, there will always be difficulties and problems that arise (some are out of our control), but we can rest assured that each of us can work on ourselves and make the most out of the lives that we lead.

Positivity is a realm of thought in many ways while empowerment is a shift in behavior (when embodied); both of these are possible every day, but you have to work hard for them and remember that they live inside of you. Don’t seek fulfillment, happiness, and wholeness in others or in toxic spaces. Learn, evolve, and become someone new. Don’t we all deserve to live the lives that we have always dreamed of? This starts by treating yourself well.

Through all that you learn in life, there is an opportunity to grow in wisdom and understanding. Your growth is more than words, actions, and beliefs, it is fruit-bearing and all-encompassing when your heart and head are in the right place. Giving yourself wisdom and allowing yourself to grow is a rare treasure that few happen upon. Treating yourself with kindness, patience, high standards, and tough love when needed most re-arranges the path that you may be on. We are wonderfully granted amazing things in life, but we need not grow boastful; remain humble and keep in mind that all things granted to you are earned and wonderfully shaped according to the way that you lead your life.

There is a division that a lot of us place into our minds that can break apart spiritual and personal life. However, there is a multitude of ways that the two collide on a regular basis. Have you experienced something that was absolutely mind-blowing, especially because “it happened to you”? In that momentary feeling of success, I bet you realized that in some way there was an anointing, gift, blessing, and a sort of divinity that must have been at play.

*An anointing can be also defined as a blessing*

I don’t think that anything in our lives happens accidentally. Successes that we experience in our lives are so much bigger than we are, and isn’t that wonderful?!

Everything that you do is connected to something wonderful that lives inside of you. For myself, I know that the Holy Trinity is a part of every fiber of my being and the fruit that I bear and the love within my heart show that to be true. You see, success comes together with effort, belief, practice, and consistency, and faith.

Certainly, there are those who are born into financial freedom, but even those people have to work hard to maintain that status. You are wonderfully made and none could compare to you. Success is anointed when you fervently aim to do something greater than yourself.

The common scope of imagination is limited, biased, short-sighted in many ways, and incapable of dreaming large-scale dreams. For those of us who dare to dream, we experience successfully anointed things. I challenge you to think about what you really want out of your life and how that can become a reality. No realm of success that is longed for or worth having lacks an anointing; in this is how you can be sure that not only are you blessed, you an insurmountable amount of abilities to bless others in the work that you do.

Having a life filled with success requires love and effort. God is present in more ways than you can imagine. Nothing is impossible as you can rest assured that you are not alone on your journey. That gift that lies inside of you is yours to behold and to cherish. Your successes may be challenging, but knowing that you God lives inside of you, you should equally come to know that you can literally have anything and be successful in your anointing.

For so many of us, as children, we had huge dreams (some a bit unreal). Do you know how much imagination and courage a child/teen has to say that they want to do something that is profound or “beyond them”? With adults, exceedingly often we shut down big dreams, bury them in our minds and chalk up our doubts to fear, lack, and lack of time.

What would happen if the dreamer inside of you was resurrected?

You don’t have to stop dead in your tracks and lead a limited life. The load may get heavy, but in time your effort will precede your many successes. In my life, I often feel drained and like I’m running an endless marathon, and yet I still keep the faith in knowing that the race will soon be won.

Resurrect your dreams and bring them back from the dead. Keep dreaming, planning, building, and striving because soon enough your dreams will become distant memories and your reality will supersede your wildest of dreams.

Doing good work and making your mission about serving God and others (not just yourself and your bank account) will bring successes and greatness to you that you could not develop alone. Isn’t it wonderful that we can set a course for our lives and have perfect support, guidance, and love wrapped around us even when we feel like the cards are stacked against us?  A resurrection of dreams is possible for those who want it most and are willing to believe in what could be wonderful.

P – Pedal to the Metal

One hope…
A dream…
A wish…
A goal…

All of these things can come into the physical realm if you do more than imagine them. Plenty of people dream of the way that things could be if only something were different. What if I told you that at this moment, everything is different? Never have you experienced the exact thoughts that you are navigating through right now. For some, never have you wondered what would happen if you took your dream and put the pedal to the metal.

Taking baby steps to arrive at a wanted destination may be required and that is perfectly fine. If I look at my journey through school or even in growing my brand, some baby steps have been necessary for me to learn what I needed to learn at a given moment in time. Sometimes it’s necessary to take a leap of faith and put your pedal to the metal. Will you take the key and drive to your destiny?

What if you do take a leap and then you trip, stumble or fall? That’s the big question, right? Well, what if you don’t take the leap and miss a chance to see your dream come to life? Think about that!

We all have an amazing chance to go from being a dreamer and believer to an achiever! Will you arrive at a full stop and sit in your thoughts or put the pedal to the medal and run to the finish line?

A chance is merely a chance without faith. Faith without works is dead. Faith with applied action leads to greater outcomes. Do more than talk about your dreams; apply them, share your greatness with the world, and believe in your mission. 
Know that nothing will fall into your lap and prayer will not be enough to make wildest dreams come true. Faith can be found in what you cannot see, so taking that leap of faith can be difficult. If we can recall that all things are possible and God is our provider, we have no reason to be afraid of following the purpose and journey that God sets before us.

Look to the sky at any given moment and write down what you see. Shapes, colors, the appearance of texture, and how you feel at any given moment during a gaze into the skies is original and irreplaceable. The pictured sky will never look the same again. Side note: God is my favorite artist.

If you look at the way that you do your craft and lead your life, you will see that your originality is what makes your journey and impact different than any other. If you wish to become great at what you do and move above a state of mediocrity, you must stand out. Divine outcomes will come from the way that you share the very fibers of your soul.

One thing that I love about this blog space is the freedom to share my experiences, education, and love for positive and real empowerment. No matter what or how anyone tries, they cannot replicate what you do; isn’t that amazing?! Originality in your natural wonder and mental creations counts.

N - Now or Later

N – Now or Later

In the process of personal evolution there comes a time when we face the question of now or later.

When focusing on your goals, determining whether you should hit the gas or pump the brakes is up to you. What we must keep in mind when answering the question of now or later is what will happen when we choose the option of greatest desire.

You can miss out on something great in life if you choose not to take another step forward. While you pause you can be giving an opportunity to someone else to make a move that you once wanted.  In a pause and reflect moment doubt can also enter, so in your choices think clearly by assessing your situation before making an “ideal” move.  Write down your options plain and clear; be sure to include possible outcomes that may come along.

Although taking the next leap forward may seem promising, it could lead to negative outcomes or change your life for the better simply because you walked on faith. Don’t make the mistake of walking blindly, be smart in your execution of completing objectives whether now or later.

If something tells you to wait when you feel like you should resume with moving be sure that the voice is not one of ill-will, personal doubt, negativity, or anything connected to pain. You deserve better than that, so don’t let darkness take over your light.

The answer to now or later is up to you; the outcome could be negative or positive in either space, so depend on your rational thinking, vision for your life, and the reality that you face.

Evil will always have a “place” in the world, so be clear in knowing that not all things are for your good. Be honest, truthful, and wise in your choices, because in these things you can find blessed success. You are not alone in your journey as there are many parts in play. Seek God in all that you do and know that with persistence and in His time the greatest things that your heart desire will come to fruition.
