G – Gravitate Toward Your Destiny

©KayLaN.Allen

For every person on Earth, there is a different story to be told. We all come from different walks of life and yet, we share some common interests and senses in the world. When you think about your story and how you have made it to this place in life, what do you see? What gave you the strength, courage, and power to get to this point? Where is the definition and embodiment of a leader born?

When you think of key figures, celebrities, those you consider heroes/sources of inspiration, and even your parents or adults in your life that you respect and admire, what do you perceive to be the common space that there share? One important answer to this question is leadership.

We all have the innate ability to become leaders.  Regardless of your socioeconomic status, belief systems, educational background, culture, religion, preferences, or age, you have the ability to become a leader – and an effective one at that.

What you aim to have in your life can be made possible with the right tools in your toolbox. Your character makes you stand out amongst the crowd. Your story sets you apart from others and creates a space of relatability to others with similar experiences. Your values stand as a source of inspiration, motivation, and structure.

 Starting to get the point?

Becoming a leader can happen with wise counsel and continuous transformation even if you don’t have the alphabet behind your name! The sooner that we can accept the truth of our lives and learn from our mistakes and or shortcomings, the closer we will be to become effective and empowering leaders.

Every time I post a message, I share something empowering and thought-provoking, and all of it based on my experiences, education, and life. In stepping into a space of leadership and in leading key leaders, the multiple facets of all that I am play a role – the same can be said for you. There are parts of you that no one can replicate and that is where your value is added to this world and whatever audience that you serve.

It’s time to step out of the “I can’t” and “Maybe later” phase. Your time is no, so don’t waste it. Today, ask yourself who you want to become and what is holding you back. Ask your inner version of yourself what makes you wonderful and a value-added to any space that you choose to grow and evolve into.

Gravitating toward your destiny and becoming an empowering and effective leader is a valuable choice, but it can only come into fruition if you are ever-willing to put in the work for yourself and those you serve.

Bible & Spiritual Connection:
John 23:14 & James 2:24
Know that you have free-will, but you also have a destiny of blessings and prosperity on your life. God has a plan that is more masterful and perfect than you can ever imagine. It is up to you to put in the work and be a good person. No one is defined or respected alone by their faith and goodwill; you must remain true to yourself, be ever-evolving, kind, respectable, and honorable in all that you are.

Be blessed and be at peace.

F – Face Your Truth

©KayLaN.Allen

In life, you know that who you are, what you believe in, and your character stands the test of time.  This is equally true for your emotional presence even when you are going through a season of difficulties and transition.

If you make mistakes, you have a chance to correct them, ask forgiveness when possible, and express remorse. If you feel yourself stumble in life, you are allowed the space and time in your physical and mental environment to dust yourself off and put forth a correction or redirection in your steps.

As a beautiful silver teapot set, even when the world may try to tarnish your truth or identity, you are still magnificent – face that truth!

Don’t deny yourself the ability to be true to you. What is your truth? Are you walking in your truth and working through it?

In this season of my life, I am facing my truth. There are days where fears, anxiety, and even disappointment arise, however, it is those days of heavy storms where I dig even deeper and keep pushing to find my rainbow.

If you are not yet where you want to be what is stopping you? Is it you?
If you aren’t challenged, what is bringing limits to your life?

Perhaps these questions, seasons, and areas of confusion mean that it is time for you to take off your blinders and face your truth so that you can make lasting changes.

Facing your truth can bring tears, joy, and countless emotions. Without your truth (unfiltered and raw) you cannot become who you or anyone else needs.

Bible & Spiritual Connection
John 8:32 & 1 Corinthians 2:13
Your truth can truly set you free in mind, body, and spirit. When we can release ourselves from lies, shadowed realities, and blocked internal light life alters in every way possible. Even when we face temptation, God will deliver us and provide us a way of endurance and escape. Isn’t it great that we can turn to God in any season of our lives, face our truths, and He will always be at our side? Hold strong to your truth even if you trip or fall, as it will lead you to new heights and wisdom that was formerly untapped.

Be blessed and be at peace.

E – Entertain Your Fears

©KayLaN.Allen

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could laugh at our fears? What if you could challenge your fears and entertain them at the same time?

Beyond fears is a realm of clarity, success, peace, and understanding unlike anything other. Many times we fail to move beyond our fear because we are unwilling to challenge them. Taking the time to address your fears and entertain them with your own method of awareness and clarity may be exactly what you need to reach the next level of your life.

When you are feeling fearful, be mindful of what that means? Journey through the fears and explore them. Treat the time that you do this as if you are entertaining them just to understand why they may be present.

Curiosity in yourself can lead to elements of truth, rejuvenation, and openness if you are willing to remain in this space even when things get difficult.

Entertaining your fears doesn’t mean that you give in to them, rather you give in to yourself so that you can learn something deeper about yourself, reflect, and empower yourself to make the most out of every moment in your life.

Entertain your fears, give them a dim light, and understand them; you’ll soon find out that they are there to help you grow.

A fear of darkness when entertained and challenged may become the very light that you need to grow.

Bible & Spiritual Connection
Isaiah 41:10 & Joshua 1:9
You are not alone in your fears and you do not have to overcome them alone. This journey through life is a challenge, but with a focus on God and the reason for your path, you can lean on new understanding and thrive in the life that you build.

Be blessed and be at peace.

D – Destined For Greatness

©KayLaN.Allen

The place and space that you lay out for your future will evolve over time.

Know & Remember
It is first important to remember that you are destined for greatness.  There is a purpose on and for your life that is greater than anything you can imagine. The very next thing to remember is that you have to tap into your greatness.

Let’s face the fact, there are people in high places and others who are living out their lives in their own version of greatness and prosperity. So, why can’t you do the same thing?

Limitations are for small minds and greatness is for those who are willing to put in the work even when it’s difficult.

Personal Reflection
At one point in my life, I thought that living in a house meant that you are doing well. At another point in life, I thought that living in the suburbs was for high-class living. Now, I understand the depth of my mindset and the value is truly present in living in a home that you build through your own blood, sweat, and tears.

True Empowerment
The character that lives inside of you is connected to what you will become. Your greatness is in your hands, even when you aren’t thinking about it. Each day, you have a chance to make something great out of yourself, so don’t waste another moment in time.

We become successful in all that we aim to do when greatness lives inside of us.

Bible & Spiritual Connection
Luke 1:37 & Luke 1:45
There is absolutely nothing that you can fathom that is impossible without God at your side. You can dream, hope, envision, work hard, and plan, in full faith (when your heart is in the right place) because what you aim for will be granted to you. Ladies, you are not exempt; you have a treasure waiting for you, so do not grow weary. Persevere and you will see, step-by-step, that you are destined for greatness.

C – Change Your Mind

“Change Your Mind”

“He who rejects change is the architect of decay. The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery.” – Harold Wilson

Change is difficult but necessary. You can hope and dream all day long, but if you are unwilling to take the necessary steps to make changes in your life and your future, nothing will happen.

If you place blinders over your eyes and walk through life as though you have no help, the problem isn’t the world or some person…the problem is you.

It’s time to wake up and get to work.

Imagine if there was a way for you to reset your thinking and be more mindful of what is possible if only you try? NEWSFLASH!!! There is a way! You are in charge of your thought processes and you can shift your life into another gear if you truly want to do so.

What you give your heart and energy to will change your life in one form or another.

A few months ago I shared a video that was a bit of a testimony of my life and it felt so good to share it and realize the power that I have in my voice and my story. Recently, I have been seeing my life evolve in positive ways right before my eyes and yet it took almost 2 weeks for me to shift my mindset to understand the value of all of the versions of myself that I have been, am now, and will become. There is power and true value in shifting the way that you think – give it a habit-forming try and watch how your perception of life and many circumstances changes.

What if we all gave way to the possibility of positive change? Can you imagine how many things in our lives would evolve for the better?

I challenge you to try to change your own mind when doubts, fears, and external noise pops up. Who knows, that shift may be exactly what you need to make your next great step happen…

Bible & Spiritual Connection
Matthew 6:33 & 2 Timothy 3:17
Wherever you place your mind, heart, and spirit will be where you will see outcomes grow from. Developing rational thinking and being able to step out of a place. You must equip yourself from the inside out and know that you need to change to truly make the things that you want to happen to come into.

Be blessed and be at peace.

B – Blame Game

©KayLaN.Allen

For everything that you have ever encountered, it is much easier to blame everything and everyone when in reality you may need to blame yourself. The blame game is no joke in your personal and professional development because if you can gain the lesson from the difficult moment or frustrating circumstance, the potential power of your journey is greater than you could have ever expected.

The “he said, she said” and it’s someone else’s fault that we often put out there in conversation or in thought are not healthy for our well-being nor can they be beneficial for the purpose set on our lives. I have been through countless situations that seemed that they were impossible to conquer, but I did overcome and make the most out of those circumstances.

A challenge for you is to ask yourself what role you have to play in the situation or position that you may face. When you can own the mental space that you are in, you can elevate your life and gift others with an understanding of clarity and the journey with oneself.

You can only put the blame on others for so long before you realize that the centering cause comes back to you – whether this means you have growing to do or you can better control your environment, the change that you wish were present starts with you. If you find yourself blaming others and still being curious about the why’s of life, grant yourself the truth and watch how things change.

If you are the champion of the blame game, you will miss out on the success, joy and prosperity of life.

Bible & Spiritual Connections
Galatians 6:5 & Proverbs 11:3
You are responsible for your actions. Remain steadfast in your faith and know that you can conquer every difficult that comes your way. Keep your integrity intact and it will be a light in the darkness. Blaming others for your faults, shortcomings, or lack of motivation is the exact opposite of what it will take to lead the life that you are called to lead. Don’t forget that.

Be blessed and be at peace.

A – Agree to Make it Possible

©KayLaN.Allen

If you find that you are angry, scared, feeling anxious, and yet still grateful you may be telling yourself that what you hope for is impossible.

The first thing that you need to do when you are aiming to change your life and your mindset is to agree that something you envision is possible.

Once you agree with yourself and open your eyes and mind to ways that you can grow, you will soon see how doors begin to open without you having to put in an overload of effort.

When I started my doctoral journey, I was terrified and I knew that it was not going to be easy. That knowledge alone could have stopped the average person, but I had to agree with myself that anything was possible.

Do you believe that your vision for your life is impossible? If your answer is no then you can still change things and give your brain a new vision and realm of possibility. If your answer is yes, then ask yourself why you have allowed negativity and a combination of difficult emotions give your dreams minimal power to come into existence.

Challenging your heart to believe is difficult, right? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could figure out that one little part of our minds that stops us from turning the word impossible to possible? It is all possible! Don’t allow any of your self-doubt, fears, what-ifs, and disappointments take over. When you step into gear, agree to the possibilities, and put forth valuable and compassionate effort, everything can to life.

Bible & Spiritual Connection
Hebrews 11:1 & Philippians 4:6
This is all connected to faith, belief, and hope. These are several gifts and blessings given to you. When that combination of emotions arises, believe all that you aim for is not in vain, nor are your prayer going unheard. This is a matter of you connecting back with yourself and your creator. You can have ALL things is only you first believe.

Be blessed and at peace.

Z – Zen in Abundance

©KayLaN.Allen

When a large number of days and stresses seem to stack up against you, it would be easy to fold and give up. The weight that you bear in life is yours to carry, but you are not in it alone. This journey is constantly shifting and evolving; sometimes the goodness and peace that we seek are within reach if only we put our hearts and minds in a space to receive it.

Understanding the peace that you need will give you new thoughts on how you can have zen in abundance. There is no limit to the amount of peace or zen that you can have; you control your environment, so allow nothing else to tell you differently.

I couldn’t tell you of how many days, I have chosen to push myself beyond my limit to ensure that completed a task or helped someone else navigate through their challenges. We have to give ourselves the very thing that we challenge others to journey through. Zen through meditation is how we can begin to create a renewed mindset and limitless prosperity. We must regularly look inside ourselves to understanding what we need, love who we are, and grow into who we are called to be.

Life in abundance can be yours if you get centered and pay close attention to your worth, your strengths, and what you are capable of doing. Zen is freeing and it brings true peace and joy; who wouldn’t want that in abundance for their entire life?

Bible & Spiritual Connection
Psalm 143:5 & John 14:27
Recall what you have experienced in life and how heavy some situations were. Now, do you remember when you overcame that time? If you know that you came out of that space with the help of God, you equally know that you can become who you are called to be with His help. It’s not over yet. The peace you need and the life that you desire is living in your subconscious and you can have it all in the physical realm. Have a happy heart and fear not.

Be blessed and be at peace.

Unclouded Thoughts – Unity Between

©KayLaN.Allen

I may not look like you or have the same vernacular, but I
would love to share a story with you.
Sit on the couch with me, share a meal with my family, and
let’s learn about one another;
There are countless lessons that we can lovingly teach
other.
For every story that is told, there is a connected heart and
a loving soul;
Listen to mine, and I’ll listen to yours, who knows – a united
mission may soon be on the roll.
Caring about each other is a message of love from the heart;
We need and crave love as soon as our lives get their start.
Lend me your hand and I’ll lend you my shoulder;
Then we will realize that the message of love and unity will
never grow older.
Filled with peace and love was the flower child of years
gone by;
Let us re-fill the cup of the world with smiles, understanding,
awareness, and an enlightened sky.
We are the makers of dreams and empowered love –
So, let’s create a new story of transformation and unity
that our families will be proud of.
