Kindness is a lifestyle and it can be revealed in the things that we say and do.
Kindness is a lifestyle and it can be revealed in the things that we say and do.
Each day we are blessed with new mercies and new opportunities, so why not share our blessings with the world?
When you see someone struggling or needing something why not help them?
Proverbs 11:25
“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.”
By you simply being kind, you will be blessed. Those who give of there hearts, without expecting a return will one day or one day moment see their blessing come forth.
Luke 6:38
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
God sees (or the universe sees/knows) your heart and what you do. If you give, you will reap what you sow. It may not come from the person that you’ve given it to… you may not even get a thank you from them, and that’s ok, but you will get a return.
Matthew 6:2-4
“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
You do not need an audience, a crowd, a platform, or a video recording of you blessing someone else.
You don’t have to tell anyone about your act of kindness, for you to be rewarded and you don’t need a crowd cheering you on. Just give. If that’s not enough for you, then you are not giving with the right intentions and you should reconsider giving.
Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
You don’t need gifts given to you to be a giver. Give with your heart and don’t be selfish.
I want you to be encouraged about being kind. You change the one through one act of kindness. You bless an entire family by blessing one member. You have the power to change the world with your kindness in action. So, speak kindly, share your love and wisdom, and give with a cheerful heart…your reward is coming.
Be blessed and be at peace.
