For every person on Earth, there is a different story to be told. We all come from different walks of life and yet, we share some common interests and senses in the world. When you think about your story and how you have made it to this place in life, what do you see? What gave you the strength, courage, and power to get to this point? Where is the definition and embodiment of a leader born?
When you think of key figures, celebrities, those you consider heroes/sources of inspiration, and even your parents or adults in your life that you respect and admire, what do you perceive to be the common space that there share? One important answer to this question is leadership.
We all have the innate ability to become leaders. Regardless of your socioeconomic status, belief systems, educational background, culture, religion, preferences, or age, you have the ability to become a leader – and an effective one at that.
What you aim to have in your life can be made possible with the right tools in your toolbox. Your character makes you stand out amongst the crowd. Your story sets you apart from others and creates a space of relatability to others with similar experiences. Your values stand as a source of inspiration, motivation, and structure.
Starting to get the point?
Becoming a leader can happen with wise counsel and continuous transformation even if you don’t have the alphabet behind your name! The sooner that we can accept the truth of our lives and learn from our mistakes and or shortcomings, the closer we will be to become effective and empowering leaders.
Every time I post a message, I share something empowering and thought-provoking, and all of it based on my experiences, education, and life. In stepping into a space of leadership and in leading key leaders, the multiple facets of all that I am play a role – the same can be said for you. There are parts of you that no one can replicate and that is where your value is added to this world and whatever audience that you serve.
It’s time to step out of the “I can’t” and “Maybe later” phase. Your time is no, so don’t waste it. Today, ask yourself who you want to become and what is holding you back. Ask your inner version of yourself what makes you wonderful and a value-added to any space that you choose to grow and evolve into.
Gravitating toward your destiny and becoming an empowering and effective leader is a valuable choice, but it can only come into fruition if you are ever-willing to put in the work for yourself and those you serve.
Bible & Spiritual Connection:
John 23:14 & James 2:24
Know that you have free-will, but you also have a destiny of blessings and prosperity on your life. God has a plan that is more masterful and perfect than you can ever imagine. It is up to you to put in the work and be a good person. No one is defined or respected alone by their faith and goodwill; you must remain true to yourself, be ever-evolving, kind, respectable, and honorable in all that you are.
Be blessed and be at peace.
